Two step authentication adds one more layer of protection to your online accounts. The simplest set up is to install the Google Authenticator app on your phone. Then research how to turn on two step authentication on your accounts. Don't worry about having to use your authentication code every time, most accounts allow you to authorize a device for a prolonged period of time. This will speed up the sign in progress drastically on frequenter used devices. However, any new device login attempts, will always need the two step code. There are back up methods you can have in place, in case you lose your device. Print off one use codes, phone number backup, and email reset.
